Movimientos presents Kanti Kena & friends
Flute & Kena player Carlos Saldana aka Kanti Qena is a multi-instrumentalist from Peru and a well known afro-andean and fusionist musician based in London. As part of his earth day celebrations he unites musicians from Chile to Bolivia to join him on the night to play traditional music from the Andes as well as jam with new fusions of Latin sounds.
His band Lokandes has played alongside the likes of legendary South American acts Kjarkas (Bolivia) and Susana Baca (Peru) and Juana Fe's Juan Ayala (Chile) and they continue to make their mark as one of the truly exceptional live acts emerging from the Latin community in London.
