This November, Queer Jazz takes over Hootananny Brixton, bringing together two of the most exciting artists from the scene for an evening of forward-thinking live music.

Eliane Correa & En El Aire headline with a powerful collision of cinematic jazz, Afro-Cuban folklore, spiritual rhythms and dancefloor-ready grooves. Led by powerhouse pianist and composer Eliane Correa, the project has recently headlined stages at Brick Lane Jazz Festival and Love Supreme. Expect heavy grooves, batá drums, horns, synths and world-class improvisation.

Support comes from Brixton's Indy Newland, a genre-defying artist blending jazz, hip-hop, vintage soul and R&B with deeply personal storytelling. Having performed at We Out Here and Leeds Jazz Festival, Indy arrives fresh from the release of second album POSER!.
